WELCOME TO TELFAIR COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Welcome to Telfair County Middle School!  We hope that your experiences here will be ones that you will remember and cherish for years to come.  Our sincere hope is that every student who passes through these halls will be successful in their coursework and in life.  Our faculty and staff will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you in any way possible, BUT you have to be willing to put forth maximum effort in all areas of the curriculum.  Here at TCMS, we place learning above all other priorities.  We hope that you will commit yourself to attaining the highest level of academic achievement possible.

It is also important for everyone to understand that rules, though sometimes unpopular, are designed to provide an orderly and safe learning environment.  Personal responsibility is a valued trait at TCMS, and we do not make excuses for our actions.  It is our expectation that everyone will follow the rules and procedures of the school, so that ALL members of the TCMS Family can have positive and memorable experiences.  To that end, our guiding framework can be summed up in four simple statements:

  • Do what is right
  • Be the best you can be
  • Treat others the way you want to be treated
  • If you can’t be kind, then be quiet
